One Door Closes, Another Opens!

Posted 3/8/2020 7:01pm by Michael Scheidel.

Hey Good folks,

With the scaling back of our farm operation has come some really difficult decisions and one is that we are closing our website and instead going to communicate through MailChimp and Face Book (see our very FIRST email sent to our first customers in 2009 below!).  If you want to unsubscribe, please do so when you receive our first MailChimp email.  We do hope you choose to stay on the mailing list because although we are scaling back, we are certainly NOT out of farming.

We will continue to offer a small CSA (see below!), scheduled Saturday markets, chicken, pork, our annual Farmer's Table Dinner, our annual Mother's Day Plant Sale and of course our Down On The Farm Christmas Market.

LIMITED CSA SIGN UPS NOW!

We are offering a small CSA for our local/loyal customers for Saturday farm pick up.  We still have shares available and are looking for about 15 more sign ups! Cost is $365.50 for 20 weeks of thoughtfully grown veggies, fruits, herbs and flowers. We will have strawberries and blueberries available in the CSA share this season! Please get in touch if you are interested.

Gratefully Growing!

Welp,

With the help of some awesome people, we have managed to occupy the farm!  It is going to take weeks to get organized but we're in (we'll post some new pics soon).

The kids are adjusting and running all over the house still waiting for Em and I to create "boundaries".  I haven't even begun to learn all of the secrets of the new home.

We also have the frame of the greenhouse up.  Now we need to wrap it and we're in business.

If you don't hear from us in the next couple of weeks, we are trying to get our internet hooked up.  As it is now, we only have dial-up but we'll keep you posted.  I hope you are all well!
